3. Purposes, legal bases and retention period
Your personal data is processed solely for the purposes for which it was collected, on the basis of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):
- Handling correspondence via the contact form: We process the data you voluntarily enter in the form (such as your name, e-mail address and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you.
- Legal basis: The legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), consisting in handling enquiries and building relationships with users.
- Retention period: The data is processed for the time necessary to handle the enquiry and resolve the matter, and then for the period required for archiving purposes or defence against potential claims.
- Sending the newsletter: If you give your voluntary and explicit consent, your e-mail address will be processed in order to send marketing information, news and promotional messages.
- Legal basis: Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Retention period: The data is processed until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe from the newsletter), which you can do at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message received or by contacting the Controller.
4. Recipients of personal data
Your personal data may be transferred only to trusted external entities with which the Controller cooperates in order to ensure the correct operation of the Website. These include:
- The hosting service provider (the entity maintaining the website on the server),
- The provider of the newsletter handling and automation system (for sending e-mail messages),
- Entities providing IT support services.
All these entities process the data on the basis of data processing agreements and are obliged to maintain full confidentiality.
5. User rights
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights, which you can exercise at any time:
- The right of access to your data and to obtain a copy of it,
- The right to rectification (correction) of your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete,
- The right to erasure of data (“the right to be forgotten”) - including where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected,
- The right to restrict processing of the data,
- The right to object to the processing of data (where the basis is the legitimate interest of the Controller),
- The right to withdraw consent at any time (in relation to the newsletter) - without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warsaw) - if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
6. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data in the contact form and when signing up for the newsletter is entirely voluntary. However, without an e-mail address we cannot reply by e-mail or send the newsletter. Required fields are marked in the form.
